The Georgetown Model United Nations team is one of the most decorated teams in the country. It is open to all Georgetown undergraduates interested in participating in Model United Nations.

Team GUMUN had a fantastic performance at McMUN, hosted by McGill University! With a team of 36 delegates, Georgetown’s largest team in years, and with multiple gavels in some of the most competitive committees in the conference, GUMUN was one of the highest-scoring teams attending McMUN. Congratulations, team GUMUN, for an amazing start to the semester.

Team GUMUN won Best Large Delegation at UNCMUNC, hosted by The University of North Carolina! Georgetown’s delegation had an incredible performance and won its fourth delegation award of the semester! Every member did an amazing job, helping GUMUN bring home the hardware and finish the semester with a huge win!

Team GUMUN won Outstanding Large Delegation at UPMUNC, hosted by the University of Pennsylvania! Georgetown’s delegates, many of whom were freshmen and first-time travellers, performed amazingly in every committee. GUMUN was the highest-scoring delegation out of the entire conference in terms of points total!

Team GUMUN won Best Large Delegation at CMUNNY, hosted by Columbia University! Georgetown’s delegates, many of whom were freshmen and first-time delegates, put in an amazing amount of hard work throughout the weekend to become the highest-scoring delegation in the entire conference.
