The International Relations Club prides itself on including younger and older members of the Georgetown community. To do this, the IRC runs its mentorship program coordinated by the Chief of Staff. The mentorship program matches new IRC members with older IRC members into mentorship “families.” In addition to events hosted by the Chief of Staff subboard (which include mixers, snack study breaks, and coffee runs), mentors are encouraged to explore Georgetown and downtown D.C. with their families.
If you’re interested in joining the mentorship program, visit the IRC table during CAB fair or email Chief of Staff Alexander Chen. Prospective mentees will get the chance to meet the different mentors in the first few weeks of September before families are finalized by October.
If you want to get involved in organizing the mentorship program or running mentorship events, contact Chief of Staff Alexander Chen for more information on the Chief of Staff Subboard.
