Conferences
NCSC & NAIMUN
Each year, the IRC partners with its sister organization, the Georgetown International Relations Association, Inc., to host two of the country’s most popular Model UN conferences: the National Collegiate Security Conference (NCSC) and the North American Invitational Model United Nations (NAIMUN). NCSC is a crisis-based conference that draws over 500 college delegates from around the country and around the world each October. NAIMUN, the world’s largest student-run conference, brings some 3,000 high school delegates to D.C. each February. Hundreds of IRC-ers collaborate to organize and staff both conferences each year.
